Once you arrive in Oxford, the Clarendon Laboratory can be reached easily on foot, by bus, or by bicycle.

  • From West Oxford / Botley: Please note that Botley Road, which connects West Oxford to the city centre, is currently closed near the railway station due to rail bridge construction. You may therefore need to take two buses or travel by bicycle.
  • From the city centre / High Street: The Clarendon Laboratory is a 10–15 minute walk via Parks Road or South Parks Road.
  • From North Oxford (Summertown, Jericho): Take a direct bus towards the city centre (e.g. routes S5, 2, or 6) and get off near South Parks Road or Parks Road. The laboratory is a short walk from the bus stop.
  • From East or South Oxford: Take a bus to the High Street or city centre, then walk 10–15 minutes to the Science Area.
  • By bicycle: Oxford is very cycle-friendly, and cycling is often the fastest option. Bicycle parking is available near the Clarendon Laboratory.
